Nina Amin is an ex Partner of KPMG UK, one of the Big Four global professional services firms, and was head of their Asian Markets until Jan 2018.
Nina is a qualified Chartered Accountant and joined KPMG in 1997. She has over 25 years of experience in providing commercial tax and financial advice across a broad range of areas including Corporate Governance, M&A transactions, due diligence, transfer pricing, reorganisations and financing. Nina was appointed as head of KPMG’s Asian markets from January 2013-2018, with the aim of building relationships with Indian and Chinese businesses and helping global organisations meet their objectives. She was a Partner from 2004 until 31 Jan 2018, and now works as a consultant with KPMG.
Nina has won a number of awards including the 2008 Professional of the Year and the 2009 Asian Who’s Who Leadership award. She was a board member of KPMG’s Advisory Council and an elected member of the CBI London Council. Nina was also appointed to the Prince’s Trust Women In Leadership Group until 2016, and is a Vice Chair of the Trustee Board of Lepra, a UK registered charity. She was awarded an MBE in 2013 in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List. She was appointed as the Chair of the Audit Committee for Koovs plc, an AIM listed company focused on India and as an NED for a private Fintec company, on 1 February 2018. She is the first female President of TiE London, part of a global not-for-profit organisation that promotes Entrepreneurship.
Nina advises a range of clients including multinationals, private equity backed companies, and listed companies. She is also involved in advising Chinese and Indian companies wishing to set up in the UK including advice on structuring, planning and compliance.
